Manufactured since 1934, the Rico Traditional Ball was the first Flamengo cheese to be made in Portugal. Loyal to its roots, it continues to obey the recipe and the artisanal finishing process.

With its characteristic light yellow colour, Lactimaf's Flamengo cheese ball is a mild, semi-soft textured cheese. It can be enjoyed more or less cured according to one's taste. It is the ideal cheese to be savoured in the company of friends, paired with good wine and dried fruit.

Cured cheese

RICO WITH PORTUGUESE HAM

Rico is a cured cow's milk cheese with a firm consistency, enriched with small pieces of Portuguese ham mixed into the paste.

To enjoy this unique cheese, we suggest that you slice it and savour it with broa (Portuguese maize bread) or cereal bread. In the kitchen, you can enrich sauces, pasta dishes, gratins and other delicacies, making them unforgettable.
